Shopping used to be a huge problem in my life. After using retail therapy for years to cope with my negative feelings, it felt like I never had enough.
I was always buying clothes for the life I wish I had. But many of these items would sit untouched in my closet with the price tag still attached. It was such a waste of money and I felt guilty about my purchases.
I was anxious all the time and thought shopping more was the solution. I thought having a big wardrobe would make me more likeable, make me happier, and give me the confidence to get a better job. But I struggled with money and my savings were non-existent.
I was getting further and further away from the life I wanted to live. And I didn't understand why.
I have spent the past five years of my life learning about money. My life has done a complete 180 from those days when I felt trapped by my shopping habits. Now, shopping and money are easy for me to manage.
